"Hey Nik, good to see you here! Sorry you're having trouble with the wysiwyg editor... it's usually no more wonky than the average editor, but maybe it has some bad interactions with the Google bar (I assume "Sixent" was a misspelled word as well). ;)  We'll see if we can improve it. I haven't *ahem* done much Japanese writing here, though what I have done has worked fine. So I doubt that's an issue.

16 years... that's commitment. I have to admit, I'm hard-pressed to study much. Pretty busy every day (two kids!), and just 3 hours weekly on Saturday mornings. I do want to get as much out of it as I can, though. It's fun anyway.
